Bouchra Arbaoui

Bouchra Arbaoui studied general sociology in combination with a minor in research methods at the University of Amsterdam (2001-2006). Since December 2007 Bouchra is a PhD student at the same university.

Bouchra’s research project aims at explaining the allegedly declining political support in various European countries. This research project particularly studies the effects of political and media systems on political support.  The project is funded by NWO and is a part of the NWO program : ‘Omstreden democracies ' (Contested Democracies).

Bouchra Arbaoui research interests also include research methods and methodology, gender, migration and ethnic studies.
